Search for Dean and Vice Provost (Graduate Studies)

Reporting to the Provost and Vice-President (Academic), the Dean and Vice-Provost (Graduate Studies) will drive an institutional priority that further enhances the University’s graduate education portfolio.  They will collaborate with a dedicated team to build on best-in-class successes already achieved at the University of Calgary. Working across the University’s academic and administrative portfolios, the Dean and Vice Provost will lead the identification and implementation of the next wave of innovative approaches of advanced post-secondary education. 

The Dean and Vice-Provost will solidify the University of Calgary’s reputation as a global hub of innovation.  They will assure that our graduate students advance the University’s research mission while ensuring that graduate supervision is professional, ethical and productive.  The Dean and Vice Provost will advance our passionate graduate learning community as a centre of excellence for embedding strong communication and leadership skills development alongside core subject learning.
